With experience in the public and private sectors we really understand the planning system. With the majority of our experience coming from the public sector we know exactly what local planning authorities are looking for in development proposals. We can help with the full range of Development Management work, including applications for planning permission, listed building consent or a certificate of lawfulness and we have the knowledge and experience to help when things go wrong – handling appeals against the refusal of planning permission for example, or resolving planning enforcement problems.

Alison has worked in Local Planning Authorities for over 30 years and is aware of the difficulties that can arise with new development projects as they negotiate the often complex and time-consuming planning process.
Now, as the founder of this independent Planning Consultancy, that experience and knowledge is available to help you with the full range of Planning work.
Our aim is to provide clients with expert, reliable and effective advice in a timely and cost-effective manner. Mainly based in Hertfordshire, my skill set and knowledge allows me, with my associates, to take on work nationally.

Founder & CEO
Alison has been working in the Town Planning and Planning Enforcement environment for over 30 years and has undertaken a wide variety of work within the commercial, industrial, agricultural, and residential sectors. Frequently acting as expert witness at Planning appeals, Alison is experienced in assessing development proposals against national and local planning policy and in giving sound, reliable and professional planning advice to applicants, architects, agents and other planning professionals.
